sorry folks but I just found an error in data and realized it was set up in meters not feet, so the length now sets at 3,424, ft putting your settings on the mode sure places things differently, when I took a second look at it I knew something was wrong , but were rightious now, sorry to cause unnecessary excitement

well our trip to the other TN cave that HR3,G2 is working on taped another 874 ft yesterday leaving us standing at 11233.6 until next trip, this is approx 3 1/2 x' original data and we still aren't done yet, and if any one is interested in helping with the next leg give a holler, its a fun little passage named "torture chamber / hell hole" I estimate this run alone will add another 300+ ft to the map and there is more beyond it, had a good time taking pictures with the roebucks at another cave in the area, even though they were having lighting issues, " hope at least a couple of your shots turned out good" more on this and "cant wait......." so tune in next time same bull time, same bull channel

the lead ended up being to tight for most of us ( all but one ) and unfortunately it was also a fool'u room, turns out not as big as we thought , young Bryan got in and said he was having a hard time moving around in there and that it only went about 40 ft and stayed tight the whole time, at this point we all heard the cave laughing, ;D so we went on and surveyed some more ended up gaining 200 more ft and confirmed some loops and dead ends for next trip, we now stand at 9,756.5 ft and growing, we did find a nice little formation grotto that i had not seen before and we have some small leads for a determined SKINNNNNNY person to look at, ( some with a pet monkey put a camera on its head, and send it in PLEASE) below you will see Bryan's hole he named it "lee way hole" and also you will see a couple of shots from the UN-named grotto

hey all, here it is short sweet and bull'ified, Rodney; john Smyre named that formation the "Sasquatch foot" trip report; the survey now stands at 9,556.0ft of surveyed passage, a few thousand left to go, and some new leads ( not virgin) left to go, the 2004 discovery totaled out 805.3 ft and the 2006 discovery still stands at 20+ft of canyon squeeze, 5&1/2 inches wide X 40+ft deep canyon/pit X un-investigated chamber 30+ ft across tight slippery canyon upper/top traverse,
thank you: to all helping, all who have helped in past, all new help, and to Lynn for remembering, that we do NOT use the name of the cave on any forum, out of respect for land owner wishes,
look forward to seeing ya ll on the next trip, may 12th

hey all a recent suggestion i sent in to the nss. has received a possitive reply, so now im calling out to all, if you know some one who has cave related tattoo's ,please get pics of the art, and what the meaning of it is to that person, ie why they got it done, when we got enough put together, the nss will run a series showing the pictures, and the back ground of each tattoo, what we need is a full size ( no reductions) pic of the art in the skin, the cavers name and state, and the background of the tattoo, you can send them to me, and i will forward them from there, thanks for yalls help in advance, send to: cavemein@yahoo.com subject tittle: cave tat's

Calsite must be saturated postively within a confined atmospheric condition in order to coat anything . Now. Name an open air condition that will coat a tree other the closed air conditions within a cave, sweetheart
its spelled "CALCITE" and calcite can come in many forms, one such form is called travertine, and it will indeed seep into and all over and around anything in its path of dispursal, as it is a secondary mineral created from disilution of limestone, ie the name flowstone, or calcite flow, when the water travels over a givin object, small traces of the mineral is left behind, over time it builds up, and wha'la, you get calcite coated what-ever

ken, if you are serious about your feeling towards such irreplaceable beauty, than you are in this field for the wrong reason, we all do this for love of it, and that includes protecting and preserving, for generations to come, if you dont feel the same way, and are willing to brag to all of us that you have no respect for the delicate and fragile underground, then you are setting yourself up to be ridiculed, harassed, blackballed, and from those with a deep seeded passion and extremely protective nature, maybe even assaulted, so i must ask, do you realy feel this way or are you just trying to get a rise?

i might be able to rig that up, thanks for the responses to this, its nice to see others think more highly of my art than I do, I think I will look into doing somthing with them, sell or display, or show in art salon, thanks for the moral support, and lynn I like your idea of making one look like a light, tag lite night lite or carbide lite, I will work on that, any other sugestions any body?
