Yeah the one I found was a 10 ft crack entrance that drops 35ft then had only 17 ft of passage. I named it Leprechaun crack since it was was fouond on Saint Pattys day. The other was found by another guy in our group that was all crawling passage. Don't remember the total length of it. Bull just called me telling me about the Aprils Fool Cave ;D He got me all excited ;D Then tolded me the truth. I will have to get him back Here is a pic from off my cell phone of Keith from our group clmbing out of Conley Hole. He was the only one in our group not climbinig with a frog. He was climbing with a Modified Mitchell. Here is another of Carrol climbing out on a frog system.

A full weekend of caving this weekend for me . Went to the cave farm this saturday for some cave mapping & ridgewalking. We ended up doing 7 caves for the whole day. Found 2 new ones, mapped 3 others, & just went caving in 2 others. One of them was a pit that they found last weekend. It was a great day all the way!!!! Sunday I meet up with some of the Murfreesboro grotto group to go drop Conley s/p? Hole in Grundy county. This pit is a drop of 163' with a 20' entrance hole. The first 30 ft your against the wall but after that it was free fall baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For yall that have never been to the this pit. ;D I should have some pics later for this pit.

Well I weight 210. Yeah at work we use 11m PMI Pit Rope. That 8m was a buddy of mine & we were seeing if it had as much bounce to it as 11m. It dont.

I thought I would post some pics of some of last yrs caving trips. This in Friddle cave. Where the zip line is. We dropped the pit doing some rope change over practice with some VERY muddy rope. Some friends with me & the wife on a cave / rappeling trip in a saltpeter cave along the duck river. Some of yall might have seen this pic on the back of the Sept 05 NSS magazine. I'm on the right with my back to the camera & my paramedic partner ( Joanna) from work is on the left. We were doing a mock rescue for NCRC. The cave was Mikes wolf cave . It is not far from Union Hill,Alabama. Jeff Burns took this pic Here I am fixing to make the drop in Yankee Hole pit.

Wow. You people rappel on BIG rope. Yeah that was 11m. On pits that small I usually use 8m.

Got to join Lynn & Dr Beaner for a ridge walking trip today. It was awesome. We ended up finding 4 new caves & visiting 11 more today!! I love living in TAG ;D I did not take my camera but Lynn did so maybe she will post some pics later. Up until today the most caves I had been in for one day was 5. Now it is 3 x that! Did I say that I like living in TAG country? ;D One of the new caves we found had a 20 ft pit in it. I was the first & only person to make the drop. Pays to have your gear with ya It had a 6" lip & nothing but free fall the rest of the way. Trip back up was a beeze until I got back to the lip. Once I got my climbing system up to the edge of the lip. I had to tie a looped knot in the leg part of my frog system to make it short enough to allow me to get my upper body over the lip. Wish I would have tried that at the begining . On another cave we had to stradle a crack that was about 2 1/2' wide & atleast 25 ft deep. The crack ran for about 60 or 70 ft & then got to wide to stradle. We then had to shimmy our way down the crack to the bottom to finish out the passage. It was funny . No matter how many caves we went in today we could always find something that was neat or different from the last cave. Over all had a great time.
