A full weekend of caving this weekend for me . Went to the cave farm this saturday for some cave mapping & ridgewalking. We ended up doing 7 caves for the whole day. Found 2 new ones, mapped 3 others, & just went caving in 2 others. One of them was a pit that they found last weekend. It was a great day all the way!!!! Sunday I meet up with some of the Murfreesboro grotto group to go drop Conley s/p? Hole in Grundy county. This pit is a drop of 163' with a 20' entrance hole. The first 30 ft your against the wall but after that it was free fall baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For yall that have never been to the this pit. ;D I should have some pics later for this pit.

Paul Snook, Steve Hambrick, Avis Moni, Gerald Moni, Rodney Schmiede, Roger Wilson, Cash Wilson, Terry Hanes, Rob Davidson, Phillip Davidson, Brian Brooks, Brian Roebuck, Lynn Roebuck, Ed Shackelford and Robert Sewell. During an impromptu ridgewalking trip on Sunday we did locate a new pit and a new cave.

Yeah the one I found was a 10 ft crack entrance that drops 35ft then had only 17 ft of passage. I named it Leprechaun crack since it was was fouond on Saint Pattys day. The other was found by another guy in our group that was all crawling passage. Don't remember the total length of it. Bull just called me telling me about the Aprils Fool Cave ;D He got me all excited ;D Then tolded me the truth. I will have to get him back Here is a pic from off my cell phone of Keith from our group clmbing out of Conley Hole. He was the only one in our group not climbinig with a frog. He was climbing with a Modified Mitchell. Here is another of Carrol climbing out on a frog system.

Um....er...well....I have to admit we may have started that story when we crawled out of the woods Saturday afternoon. Seems we may have mentioned something about a 1000' cave we had just found that everybody else missed! Ooops! The fib grew..... Here are just a few pictures from Saturday, March 17, 2007. Mr. TCS gives his standard "drip line" speech to Bull at Giants Roost RS, Pretzlgirl, The Sweetheart of TAG and Mr. TCS at the sinkhole of Spooky Hodag At the entrance to Spooky Hoday - Mr. TCS and RS

Great photos guys! Thanks for posting them. Lynn, looks like some nice cave entrances to me. As for the small caves you found tncaveres, my motto has always been, even little caves are worth doing once.

Good photos of Conley Hole. We have caved with Keith many times in the past. He's a good fella! I'm glad you enjoyed the drop. I might have to try that one myself sometime.

Nice photos tncaveres, thanks for posting them! I'm glad the entrance photo of Conley Hole included cavers. Without people in the photo of the entrance for scale, the size of the pit opening can be deceiving.
