Thanks for sharing the excellent photos Karstscience. Your post reminded me of a funny story. Last July, during the pre-convention camp in Tennessee, a bat somehow got in Marion Smith and Sharon Jones' house and became trapped in the bathroom. Needless to say, much comedy ensued as Philip Rkywalder (mentioned above) attempted to capture the frightened little fellow and place him back outside, which he eventually succeeded in doing. Here's Philip (with towel) trying to subdue the flying and frightened bat. Note bat flying above Philip's head in photo.Philip releases the little fellow back into the night. S. Jones on left in photo.Yes, I was of great help during the process....I took the photos.
