BCI Supports Forest Service Cave Closures

AUSTIN (July 28, 2010) – With White-nose Syndrome threatening bats in the American West much sooner than expected, Bat Conservation International supports Tuesday's emergency decision of the U.S. Forest Service Rocky Mountain Region to temporarily close all caves and abandoned mines on its lands in Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.
