High school-age campers squeezed glue onto boards, drilled screws into frames and slapped on paint to create homes for bats.
Up to 150 bats can squeeze into one of the homes, which were 1 inch deep and about as long and wide as two newspaper pages.
The problem was that bats weren't roosting in homes placed around Nescopeck State Park.
