Here are some I shot with my D300+16-85VR (without which these would have been impossible). ISO800, no NR, minimally processed in NX (some EC and WB and that's about it). www.pbase.com/smcleod965/wombeyan_caves&page=all I was pretty happy with how these turned out but Wombeyan is quite well lit (as caves go). I turned all the NR off because it was very obviously having a destructive effect on fine detail, or even on the *appearance* of fine detail of the textured walls of the caves; consequently they have a very "gritty" look at 100% but compared to ISO800 color film the improvement is amazing. forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1039&message=30504952

Az, Not my words in the post. But as I understand it VR = vibration reduction, NR = noise reduction, NX = Nikon NX software, EC = exposure compensation, and WB = White Balance. The use of acronyms is SOP BTW!
