i had a recent dispute with somone telling that vertical caving was spelunking and caving was exploring caves i am an avid vertical caver i would never want to be called a speluker

i had a recent dispute with somone telling that vertical caving was spelunking and caving was exploring caves i am an avid vertical caver i would never want to be called a speluker Get your friend and put him on rope high enough to be scary and then put a (dull ... very dull) knife on the rope and make him recant his words and swear to all that is holy and to all the Cave Gods not to ever EVER use the word spelunking in your presence again! That'll show him!  |

Aww...come on Jason. Cavers are just spelunkers with some extra training/education. ;D I no longer get upset about being called a spelunker. Just not worth it. Easier to embrace my spelunkiness and be proud of it.   |
