Historical Elmalý cave needs attention

The enormous, historical, Elmalý cave, in Ispir district of Turkey' s eastern province of Erzurum, is expecting protection, due to its spectacular scenery, interesting formation of travertine, rock columns, and the observation towers at its entrance and an indoor pool.
Located at an altitude of 400 meters within the borders of Elmalý Village, the size of the cave has not yet been determined. It is reported that there are damages caused by treasure seekers in the cave.
