LONDON, July 29 (IranMania) - Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization resumed work on drilling a hole in the walls of Chal Nakhjir Cave in Delijan, Markazi province--a unique and 70 million-year-old cave on July 25 but due to timely intervention by the provincial Environment Department, the operations were suspended. Announcing this, head of the department, Mohammad Baqer Sadouq told CHN that upon receiving information about the operations, his department dispatched several staffers to the location to stop the undertakings. The contractor and workers resisted moves to meddle in their work, he noted. Source
