(Speleogenesis Bulletin from Alexander Klimchouk.)
WWW.SPELEOGENESIS.INFO - BULLETIN n.10, February 25, 2005
NOW ONLINE - VOLUME 3, ISSUE 2, 2005
The Speleogenesis Team is pleased to announce the release of the next issue of the "Speleogenesis and Evolution of Karst Aquifers" Journal: Volume 3, Issue 2.
It contains seven articles, five being re-published from other sources and two original contributions. The content follows at the bottom of this Bulletin. The content of the current issue appears on the main page of the site, from where one can go to HTML or PDF (screen) versions of papers, or download ZIP containing PDF-printable versions (recommended to those who prefer to print a hard copy for personal use). You can download selected papers, or the whole issue by just one click.
Previous issues of Speleogenesis are available via the 'Jump to:' line on the main page. All previously published papers are available in the Archive section.
NEXT ISSUE IN PREPARATION - Volume 4, Issue 1, 2006
The Speleogenesis team is working on the next issue. As always, the Journal relies on good papers. We encourage you to submit your contributions to be considered for publication.
WORLD KARST/CAVE SCIENCE JOURNALS ON SPELEOGENESIS
Regular visitors of the site have already appreciated a new service on Speleogenesis, created recently thanks to cooperation between principal karst and cave science journals. Now current titles and abstracts of journals, such as Acta Carsologica, Cave & Karst Science, Die Hohle, Journal of Cave and Karst Science, International Journal of Speleology and Karstologia, are available from a single place - a special panel in Speleogenesis main page. The titles and abstracts of current issues appear as soon as they go to printer.
Now we are working on a new feature:
World Karst/Cave Journals Database - a combined database of all publications which appeared in the major karst/cave science journals. This database will be available online and will be fully searchable by journals (issues), authors, years and topics (keywords). We are sure that this new service will be highly beneficial for karst and cave scholars. This search engine is supposed to appear on Speleogenesis during March.
Best wishes!
Sincerely yours,
Alexander Klimchouk,
Managing Editor-in-Chief
