Samsung launches the 'world's toughest' mobile phone Mobile ChoiceSamsung has teamed up with O2 to launch the Solid phone. The Samsung Solid is Samsung's first ultra durable handset, featuring built-in anti-shock, as well as water and dust resistance. According to Samsung, the phone is designed for builders, tradesmen and extreme sports enthusiasts and comes encased in a thick rubber body that will be able to withstand tough knocks. The phone comes with a built-in FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, camera and a long battery life. The handset also features a built-in flash light which doubles up as an emergency torch. I hope they don't start building cell phone towers in caves now to support these so called "phones great for potholers and cavers who take a wrong turn"!!! The next version will be able to heat small frozen pizzas and has a built in electric cap snaffler and a mini bread baker. A handy phone indeed!
