At the September 8 meeting, the ACS will hold the 2007 business meeting, elect ACS Directors, collect dues (dues are based on the cost of printing the update and expected to be $10 to $12), and distribute the annual update. Map CDs will be available as will an updated version of the Narratives. If anyone would like to do a presentation on a project or survey, contact Scott Shaw, 113 Harwell Lane, Meridianville, AL 35759. There will be AV equipment available (a windows-based computer and electronic projector, so bring presentations on CD or memory stick). There’s also room to hang up maps for display, so bring those as well. An electronic version of the new cave report form is located on the ACS website at www.alacaves.org, or contact Scott Shaw (nss30571@bellsouth.net) for further questions. All cavers welcome to attend.

Hi All, A brief note from the ACS Meeting held on Saturday. Angela Morgan, Andy Zellner, and Alan Cressler were elected to fill the vacant ACS Director postions during the meeting. They join Scott Shaw and Julie Schenk Brown for the 2007-2008 year. Much appreciation to them for taking on these positions!
