Activation Email (Not Arriving)
If your Activation Email did not arrive, this may be why:
If you using an AOL address, AOL tends to block lots of mail that should be allowed through. If you can not get your activation key with AOL, it is suggested you use an alternate email account with a different provider (such as hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc).

The problem is on AOL's end. I suspect AOL has it set as some sort of security feature to prevent spamming and it has the unfortunate side effect of catching other emails where it cannot readily identify the sender of the email.

Updated information for AOL users trying to register on U.S. Cavers Forum:
If you use AOL, they tend to block lots of mail that should be allowed through. If you can not get your key with AOL, we suggest you use an alternate email account with a different provider (such as hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc).
AOL will not allow the activation email to be delivered to users. It believes it is spam because it cannot identify the sender, which is U.S. Cavers Forum. One option mentioned above is to use a hotmail or yahoo account (both are free).
We have recently received information on one other option, but since we don't have AOL we have not been able to verify if it is accurate. AOL suggest putting proboards on your buddy list and in your aol address book.
AOL states that mail is never spammed or refused if is on both of those. Put Proboards as the buddy name and firstname.lastname@example.org as the address.
If you choose to do the aol address book and buddy name, please let us know if this works so that we can offer this advice to other AOL users.
