Here are a few select photo's from the Blue Spring Cave Work Day this past Sunday, September 10th. Approximately 20-25 cavers came to lend Lonnie a hand but the work was not finished so another work day is being planned. On the surface Lonnie Carr and Bambi Dunlap load buckets with gravel At the end of the haul line Tony Pugh and Rosemarie MacDonell remove buckets. The buckets were given to Brian Roebuck to pour into the gravel chute at the entrance which took it into the cave.
In the cave Tim Moore hauled buckets to Bill Walter and Kim Abney for spreading along the walkway Jeannie Trowbridge and John Bulter working hard on the new walkway Jonathan Roberts hauls gravel deeper into the cave Brian Roebuck checks on the progress Spencer Mountain Grotto Chairman, Paul Moser takes a moment outside the cave to chat with Anne Elmore ( continued on next post)

Progress was made by John Osteen, Clinton Elmore and other's on the new surface steps and walkway that leads to the cave At the end of the day Lonnie Carr took the time to Thank all the caver's who gave up a day of caving and came out to help at Blue Spring Cave!
