I have been caving in the TAG area of the US for about 16 years now along with my wife Lynn. We started out surveying and mapping with a group of local cavers and expanded our interests to include cave conservation, cave restoration, cave archaeology, cave biology, cave history, cave photography, cave airflow and a host of other cave related things. It keeps us busy indeed. We also are still doing some survey and mapping projects as well as keeping an eye on local sensitive caves when we can. I enjoy mostly horizontal caves with historic, biological, and cultural resources the most. I do occasionally dabble in vertical caves as well. I can often be seen assisting Lynn with cave photography and flash lighting. I have been an NSS member since 1991 and belong to various grottos in the South East Region of the NSS. I am also a moderator on several of the main topics on this cavers forum and enjoy reading many of your posts. I look forward to more of you posting and contributing to U.S. Cavers Forum. You really will get out of it what you put into it!
