Anyone know if the owners would let you camp there at the Salt Peter cave in Kentucky. I would like to plan a possible Spring break camping trip there for my kids and wife and brothers family and wondered if anyone would allow us to camp there and maybe check out the other caves in the area from the campsight. I know that the Salt Peter Cave is closed, but I know of at least one other cave with in walking distance of the Saltpeter and thought it would be a nice way to spend a week or Thursday Friday & Saturday of Spring break for the kids out in the wilderness.
Let me know if anyone knows if it is possible to do it.
Thanks in advance

Hi Tony, If you are talking about the Great SaltPetre Cave, it is now owned by the Rockcastle Karst Conservancy. I believe there is a link to contact them on their web site www.rkci.org/I do not know what the camping policy is on the property.
