Hello! I am from Atlanta and coming to Denver area to take a class October 12-15th. I will get out of class around noon on the 15th, and would love to take in a cave.
Got any caves in Denver??? Anyone available to take me???

Hi Kelly, Besides fault cave, most caves are an hour or more drive from Denver. Colorado Springs is probably the closest good caving area. I'd be happy to take you caving there, if you have the time to drive down. E-mail me if this will work into your plans.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. LP and I appreciate your help. Elizebeth's too. We made sure the two of you earned your keep by helping us haul plastic wood and construction gear in with us. Breezeway does tend to leave you speechless. The color contrast of white on red walls is truely amazing. The formations are hospital white to opaque in color. Now you will have to see if there are beaded helectites in Helectite Heaven.

Hey, no problem helping carry some boards and such. That cave was well worth the 'payment'. I looked on the web site to see the photos of where we've been, and they don't do it justice. Those little harry helictites were my favorite! Elizabeth had a great time too, as she told me over and over again on the drive back. She had never done any climbing like that before and told me "I never would have thought anyone could climb that kind of thing. It looks impossible until you actually do it." Its so funny to hear the perspectives of beginners sometimes!
