Tech’s Professor Boston Plans Keynote Speech11/13/08 by: John Larson For The Mountain Mail Socorro, NM Penny Boston in her MSEC office on the New Mexico Tech campus. Conservation, both above and below the ground, is the message Penny Boston will convey in her keynote address Nov. 21 for the Festival of the Cranes. Boston is a professor in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department at New Mexico Tech and director of the Cave and Karst Studies Program. Boston is the author of more than 100 technical and popular publications, editor of four. She has two upcoming books. Her work has been featured in about 150 print and broadcast media outlets. Boston will deliver her keynote address, “Mysteries of the Fort Stanton Cave and Snowy River,” at Tech’s Macey Center from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21. Large update on Snowy River
