2006 NSS Convention - Call For Papers
The Geology and Geography Section of the National Speleological Society invites abstract submissions for the Geology and Geography Session at the 2006 National Speleological Society National Convention in Bellingham, Washington, between August 7th and 11th. The abstracts should be 250 words or less and include the title of the paper, the authors names, professional affiliations (if desired), and mailing addresses. Please also provide an e-mail address for the contact author and identify an oral or poster presentation preference. You can find more information on what to include in an abstract at www.nss2006.com/ses_JournalRequirements.htm
Type of papers:
The Geology and Geography Sessions will be divided into a full-day oral session and a half-day poster session. Please identify your session preference. Deadline: Not yet announced. As the oral session commonly fills before the deadline anyway, early submissions for the oral session are encouraged. (Deadline will likely be between May 1st and June 1st.)
Please send Word or text file to LHose@nckri.org Confirmation notes will be sent to everyone sending an abstract. Details on presentations times, dates, and other information will be sent to all confirmed participants after the deadline.
The convention staff has not yet set a deadline for submissions but the geology oral sessions generally fill before the deadline anyway. Thus, we recommend that you submit your abstract at your earliest convenience. For those who wish to wait until the last minute and will be happy in a poster session, monitor www.nss2006.com/sessions.htm to learn when the deadline is set. You may also contact the session chair at the address above.
