I just finished reading the March 2006 addition of the news. I like to commend Brian and Lynn Roebuck on their articles on conservation and graffiti removal. I had a blast during the convention field trip and learned more about why not to jump in and start removing graffiti. The kicker was reading about it in the news. This is a great issue and I hope all take your words to heart. Myrna Attaway was also one of the writers and she too deserves much credit for such an informative article. I always love the conservation issue and this one is a keeper.

I, too, thought the 2006 NSS Conservation issue was outstanding, and it isn't even over. A portion remained that will be published in April. Kudos to Brian and Lynn on their joint article, Lynn's additional article, and the other authors, you all made this Conservation issue the best one I remember in the past several years.

Awww Shucks, Thanks for all the kudos - but we had great teachers that showed us all that stuff. They are the ones that deserve credit for passing on knowledge to the rest of us.

Yes, Thanks for all the kind words. But really we are just passing along what we have learned over the years to other cavers. Overall, I also thought the March Conservation Issue was the best one ever! To me the " Meth Lab Posing Potential Problems in Caves" article was the most informative but the whole issue...Rocked! Now I can hardly wait to see the April Conservation issue!
