I guess you can say you got it bad and it is rubbing off when your driving down the road and your little ones holler look there is a dark spot.
While driving down a country road when the sudden cool air hits your face and you slam on the breaks cause you know there is a possibility of a new crack or hole to climb down in.
That is what happened to me on Memorial day weekend. We was heading over to the graveyard to decorate some headstones and all the sudden my little one yelled, "Look Daddy, that might be a cave." I slowed down around some cliffs and as we came around a bend I could feel the cold air hit my face, so I immediately slowed down and started looking for a new entrance. We found a few depressions in the rock face, but the rocks actually didn't look like there should be a cave there. Plus the fact that the area was known very well for several of our slithering reptile friends we decided to come back and double check this area in the fall.
Yesterday however, we was traveling in search of some cave locations and sure enough my brother looking from time to time out he window while driving seen yet another new location for us to check.
This was the picture we took on the way back out. The cave was in a bad spot on the road or we would have probably peaked in it as well.
Looking into the cave from here we could see it went both left and right.
So we now have yet another new adventure awaiting this Summer or Fall.
Just another 2 cents worth from a caving buddy.
Cave hard and enjoy the summer.
