The Stalactite Cave of Larrybane After a short rest from my Antrim caves project, it is now time to go back underground in this latest installment. Beneath the limestone cliffs of Larrybane there is a very unusual sea cave. It is unusual because it is located some 7 metres above the high water line. This relict sea cave was formed some time after the ice age when the sea levels were much higher than they are today. Its position above the reach of the destructive power of the sea has allowed some wonderful karst features to develop including some fine pillars, stalactites and stalagmites. www.andymcinroy.com/0804note.htm
