Thanks Az.........I'm guessing last falls MVOR site is underwater too. WAS, Dan, was.... The 'by the river' campsites definitely; and there was water in the open field, but probably only about 10 feet deep. The cabins, store, etc., on the hill were fine. That region the river was about 30 ft. deep and only for 2-3 days. (it is usually 3-5' deep with 10 ft only in deep holes.) Another 2-5 inches of water is due between here and Tuesday. They didn't take down the concrete barricades on I-44, even though they said they would. Don't expect more massive flooding on that amount of rain, even though everything is sodden. This year is starting out like 1993. I hope not. We're about 5 inches of rain over average right now. This has followed about 5 years of underachieving rainfall-- not a drought exactly, but not 'average'. (Yes, know that's where averages come from. ) This spring MVOR is in Southern Illinois at a horse arena. Don't know if it has a stream or not.
