New here,
What is a good headlamp that throws a wide beam? I'm actually gonna use it for video taping and would like to have a 8 foot wide beam at about 10 feet.
Anyone know which headlamp might be a good choice?
Thanks
JJ

If you are going to be videotaping, (or even doing digital video) you will need more than a helmet mounted light. Something with the lumens of a gasoline lamp, or Coleman lantern at minimum is more like it. (Don't know what that is, offhand.)
It's much better if your primary light doesn't move (headlamps can, of course) but to have both the camera and the basic illumination moving makes for a very dizzying final production.
