Met up with Terri and Roger this morning, for a day of caving , after gathering gear ,we took off to meat up with Steve to go and follow up on a lead of rogers, in south east Bedford co, tn. after searching out in the wrong section of the woods for about 45 minutes, we started making our way out, with the plan of coming back in the winter , thats when we spotted it! just of the main trail! , and as none of us had brought a light , we looked at as much as we could, took gps readings, photos and description. then we headed off, to meat up with Rodney and Wayne, for sock eye green pit, and after dropping and photographing, then climbing out, we headed of to look at a cave Rodney found, which turned out to be covered wagon coffee co, then we all went our seprate's and called it a day, Roger and Steve in entrance sink@ fern float Roger and Terri dropping into sock eye green Rodney and Wayne frogging out Rodney , Wayne, Roger, and Terri walking to entrance of covered wagon

rodney/ wayne, I would be happy to post the pic of you two half way out, but it turned out so fuzzy you probably dont want it, it was poor enough quality that I cant even save it after enhancement, we can go back some time and try again if you like. maybe wait at the bottom a little while to cool off so there wont be so much body steam interferance also.

Hey Rodney I don't know if the Weaver Well you guys went to is the one Brian is asking about. Several years ago we surveyed and mapped the pit Brian is talking about. Can you PM me the location? Ah yes, I remember when we first discovered Halliburton Cave. The cave entrance was nothing more than a small hole which was well hidden behind a large rock. I recall the landowner said he would only see the cave when he could walk-in it so it looks like he was finally able to see his cave.
