6- 24- 07 window cave with j&b, Steve, roger, ray, Terri, josh, and Jeromy, every body had a good time, the trip went off well, saw lots of salamanders, lots of formations, and Steve falling off of a wall 8ft above my head down to 8ft below my feet, right on to his back, lucky for him his pack cushioned his fall , the guy is lucky and tuff all at the same time, he continued exploring for another hour or so then made his way out of the cave, down the trail, and drove himself home, then later went to the hospital to find out he had lightly bruised his lower back and, moderately to severely sprung his ankle, two days of elevation at home and he's back at work, climbing ladders, lifting stuff, etc, with a light limp, and a smile on his face every time some body asked if he was going to do Jackie Chan impressions any more, and in his words, "no more of doing my own stunts, at least not in that spot" all in all it was a good day, in a nice cave with good friends, thank you to the cave gods for the good stuff, and no rescue needed, here are some pics from the trip ladder time main hall j&b in the back sally with j&b OK,, sal, and he's checkin out j b in the back j in the back sal in the main hall

I was talking with j of j&b and the subject of me showing them around to the caves and teaching them the "trix" of the trade made it seem like i was feeding there addiction by pimpin' out the caves to them, then the conversation jumped to me being a good daddy ;D and being big like I am with a big heart , it all got jumbled together and whala! big daddy + cave pimpin' = big daddy bull da' cave pimp

Yeap, I knew there had to be more to the story. The nickname " Big Daddy Bull da' Cave Pimp " just makes me grin. ;D ;D But what I have to know is....does being called "Big Daddy" make you feel ...ummm....OLD? Hummmm....apparently Steve hasn't found out that he is not faster than a speeding bullet......he's not more powerful than a locomotive......nor does it seem he is able to leap tall formations in a single bound. Ooops sorry but all these old superhero sayings have popped in my mind .....so I can't just resist and just have to add this....... There's no need to fear "Super Spud" is here. <pardon, just teasing Steve> ;D

I thought Bull HAS been caving with the kidz (see his attached photos)! Just kidding folks. ;D ;D ;D ;D I wouldn't mind a cave trip for shooting some photos that is easy and has some decent passage shapes or formations to shoot.

how about billy stone, or averett, or maybe brian can pull a short trip to the front of yell. if its not closed for bats ( but I think it is) the map to rolling thunder looks like it might do as well and it would be new for me, what about it bri, ?

Well, yes Yell cave is on the Closed Cave List and so is closed right now due to the gray bat maternity colony. We would have to go out and see about permission for Rolling Thunder because I'm not sure if our relative still owns the cave or not. Hummm.....I seem to recall we may have left a tad of virgin passage for future generations to explore. We should probably get on the Bull-a-Phone tonight if you guys want to pull a caving trip together for tomorrow. ring-ring

Up with the sun and getting ready to go! It'll be a fun trip. We'll all have to do a trip report after just to give different perspective on the cave and how we enjoyed it.
