I'm going on a secret dig trip today with hopes in breaking into more cave. Don't tell anyone OK! With the weather being so dry lately it is a good time for it. Hopefully we can get into something new!

Ah, sand offers its own special torment. Probably one of the most uncomfortable trips I've ever had was wearing a wet suit thru sandy crawls. How it gets into every nook and cranny thru a wetsuit is beyond me. ;D

Well it looks like the dig is not in your local rescue area, afterall. I suppose....by chance if we are in need of rescue we will have to call the closest cave rescue unit or dial 911. Ok, I can't say any more since it is a secret dig. Shhhh.......

Well my secret team went back and dug secretly on the secret dig again yesterday. It was so secret I didn't want to tip anyone off by telling you in advance. We dug about 4 hours in a relaxing belly crawl with a hint of air flow removing a soft fill in an old lower passage that silted up. So far we have gone about 35 feet into the dig and the ceiling is tilted up now. That will hopefully let us get through into glory beyond. Again - don't tell anybody about this. It's a secret dig you know!

Yet again the intrepid secret diggers gathered for another secret dig at a secret location. We broke through into some H&K crawls after a tight section was enlarged enough for me to get through. So far we have gone about 100 feet but the survey tape will tell the whole story when we survey our progress next time. I stopped in a 20 ft high section before turning around and extruding back out. It was nice to get back into walking mode after being horizontal for so long. Later we all visited some other karst areas and even found a family dig project near a road that we stopped in to take a look at. We ended up helping two young men open up one karst feature that was vertical while others in the secret team checked out some other leads etc. Time passed quickly and we all had to leave for home. We secretly agreed to come back soon and do more looking and exploring. It was a fine day of secret caving!
