U.S. teen‘s body recovered in Mexico July 27, 2007 MEXICO CITY - The body of a 16-year-old suburban Philadelphia boy was recovered Tuesday from an abandoned mine in central Mexico, four days after he fell to his death. A full autopsy was to be conducted later Tuesday. Mexican police earlier quoted witnesses as saying the youth tried to jump over the 10-foot-wide shaft of the Cinco Senores mine in Guanajuato state. Christopher Crane said he was impressed with the rescue effort, which included government officials and residents.
