Well, we had discussed earlier this year that we had not been caving all year..
. So we decided to take one before the year was out and with scheduling off and the Christmas break, we ended up going New Years eve.
It was awesome to take my friend and his girl friend with us especially since she braved going with us on her first ever trip to Kentucky's underground.
We had a wonderful time. Found a new passage that we hadn't seen before, or at least seen all of it. It was always there on the map we had, we just never read it as going that way. Now we know an easier way to go into the cave without the small 18" clearance crawl we have to do. It is about an 24" crack that is much easier, however some what more slippery than the snake crawl we normally use.
Fat boy (me) had a little trouble getting my short legs to get me up the wall, but after my brother came back and showed me how he did it, I managed to get up.
It was awesome as always taking my boys through the cave and being blessed enough to be able to take the cameras with us to show how much they grow as we go. Since 2005 when we first started taking them on trips with us, they have sprouted up so much that it makes you wonder where the time has went.
I just hope these memories they have will always show them how awesome it is that God made things like caves and everything else that we can go explore at anytime.

Before

Break time

Different way we left.

Tight spot

Fat mans squeeze

Another safe and successful trip...
God Bless
