Not being a big wall climber myself, can someone explain what "capsule style" climbing is?

If they ever finish building this sucker, we won't have to climb any mountains to nail the highest rappel, we can just take the rope up in the elevator.  gizmodo.com/373930/5250+foot-tower-will-make-burj-dubai-look-like-pencilOnly the Saudis could have penis envy this bad!  Somebody will crash a plane into it for sure! Maybe even one of their own guys if they train at that school in Louisiana where the 9/11 hijackers trained to fly! I used to do high-rise window cleaning, man, talk about getting paid per drop, it would take you about a week to clean each drop. You'd need a winter jacket and an O2 mask for the top floors and sunscreen for the bottom floors. You might even be able to jump a ride on the window cleaner's rope and avoid needing your own, LOL! |

Heh, You'll have to wade through the base jumpers to get a place in line at the top! A VERY ambitious project IMHO. the best way to rappel higher than Thor is to use balloon(s) to raise a rope up to where oxygen could be required!......and remember you gotta climb it for it to count!!
