I have been reading many things on WNS but this time the USFS states that people can spread WNS. As far as I know this has never been proven. Scientists do not represent circumstantial evidence as fact. How can USFS make such a claim? Here's the link: "While the disease is not known to be harmful to people, evidence indicates the dispersal of the Geomyces destructans fungus, considered the primary causal agent for WNS, can be transmitted via bats or people. People may inadvertently transfer the fungus from an affected site to an unaffected site, via spores on their clothes or gear, where it can then affect bats using the site." www.fs.fed.us/invasivespecies/prevention/whitenosesyndrome.shtml
