Who: National Speleological Society
Mission: "To work for the preservation of caves with a realistic policy supported by effective programs." The group seeks to establish cave preserves; gate caves when necessary; they oppose the sale of cave growth; and work to clean and restore caverns. NSS also works with commercial cave operators to encourage the inclusion of karst education along with cavern tours.
