Hello All; I just became a caver in time for the WNS shutdown. I'm a retired electronics engineer and have been building some LED helmet lights. They are now in the hands of cavertim for testing. But all has stopped due to WNS. Here is a Candle Power Forum link: www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=226956We may re-start the project if I'm still alive when the caves re-open.

Welcome Mick
Tim tells us your LED / engineering talents are quite amazing. Perhaps we can all get together some time and see for ourselves. There are other caves around with no bats that are still open so you may have places to test your lights out anyhow.
I looked at the link to your forum and can see the light in action. It looks like a rugged unit with much potential as a super powerful caving light.
