I need to show this led finger light with a white background. But the light needs to be on and show a little color on that white background. If I just use a brush and white out some area around the light hitting the table then it does not look very good. I want to make a great looking photo to put on the front of this website. I would appreciate any help at all. There is a photo now on the front of this website www.lducompany.com of the finger light but they want me to change it to have a white back ground but show the color light. Thank you.

Set your LEDs on a bright white card in a room with muted lighting with a neutral white color (meaning, not yellowish nor bluish). Turn on the LEDs. Shoot down onto the page, as closely cropped as you can be. See what you get. The photo you show on the side has a 'dark side'. Use an off-camera flash on a cord to brighten up that side by flashing parallel to the card. Example: if you have a typical right angle head dedicated flash, stand it upside down with the flash aimed through the LED array towards the bright side. If this blows away the color halo, try using the flash on partial power, or adjusting its position farther away. You might need an assistant for this.
The other option is to take the LEDs with the lights on. Using Photoshop, magic wand the LEDs and move them to a white background then put the color shadows in by hand by color matching and blending.
