Between life and death for 13 hoursAugust 12, 2007 A boat captain and his friend, who went into a cave drunk towards morning and got lost, were rescued after 13 hours. The AKUT teams found the two friends clinging to each other, about to faint. Rescued from cave after 13 hours The two men who went into a cave drunk were saved owing to the journalists. The victims said that they feel as if reborn. The night before, boat captain Neþet Arýkoðlu and 3 of his clients drunk together and went to Karaada at around 02.30, and then into the Karaada Cave. Neþet Arýkoðlu and Mesut Doðan Tatarhan, aged 20, got lost in the cave. The other two people, going back to the boat 2 hours later, could not find the captain and his friend. The Coast Guard Team could not find the missing people and professional diver were called for help at 14.00. The AKUT teams were also called, and after long efforts, the people were found 13 hours later. Article

Yet another prime example of why you don't cave while under the influence. I wonder if they had more than one light between them??? Glad they survived else they would be candidates for the next "Darwin Award"!
