Mickey Mouse won't be taking this hike anytime soon. If he does, he likely would become dinner for a red-shouldered hawk. There is nothing touristy about it. The Disney Wilderness Preserve is a 12,000-acre sanctuary of natural communities just outside Poinciana that is owned and managed by the Nature Conservancy, which has been restoring the land for the past 15 years.
