Indian cave stands in highway's pathby Jake Stump, Charleston Daily Mail REDMOND -- Down a rural back road a few miles from Point Pleasant, archaeologists keep close watch over a rock cave shelter 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The cave is enclosed in a barbwire fence pinned with "No Trespassing" and "No Hunting" signs. This is to ensure no one wanders onto the site and disturbs what may be inside the cave - artifacts and remnants of American Indian life from 1,000-plus years ago.
