Students have cave adventureBULL SHOALS — School is winding down, and for many Twin Lakes Area students that means field trips. A field trip was exactly what was on 7-year-old Cortland Neal's mind Wednesday as he and his Cotter second-grade class took the opportunity to learn more about caves with a tour of Bull Shoals Caverns and Mountain Village 1890, a historic recreation of an Ozarks settlement. Bull Shoals Caverns is 350 million years old and features stalactites, stalagmites, drapes, boxwork, flowstone, cave corals and helictites, according to the attraction's owners.
