Woman pulled from cave identified
LAHAINA – A Maryland woman whose body was pulled from an underwater cave at Black Rock in Kaanapali on Sunday has been identified as Teresa Ann Dunnington, 52.
The Silver Springs resident had been snorkeling with a companion who went for help after finding her, police said. The woman had been underwater for at least 20 minutes, police said, before a fire rescue diver retrieved her body at 10:23 a.m.
An autopsy was pending.
