Cindy Forrest figures she could almost be a geologist.
Since a 15-foot sinkhole appeared in her front yard in June, she's learned a lot about underground cave systems and water flow.
Enough, in fact, to hypothesize that the garbage she said appeared in the hole after recent rains came from a different sinkhole behind her home in the 3200 block of South Dayton Avenue.
