We are long over due for some new caving knee pads and have been shopping around.
We checked out the B & C Wunderwear knee pads at SERA and they look pretty dang tough. I just wondered if anyone has tried the B & C Wunderwear knee pads and if so, how do you like them?
Or for comparison and discussion what knee pads do you use?

I have almost destroyed my Bomber Gear full knee pads. Pretzlgirls are in better shape but wearing out as well. Gonzo Guano Gear pads look pretty good too. We'll see how tncaveres GGG pads wear for him as time goes on. I need to invest in new pads though. How much are your knees worth? (Note: this gets more important as you age)

Yes the Bomber Gear knee pads were very durable and held up to many years of caving! I would really like to have another set that tough! Dirty Daves Long Knee Pads sound pretty good too.

To add to Pretzlgirls' original post - Here's a link to B&C Wunderwear www.bcwunderwearinc.com/ They don't show much in the way of photos of products but you can get contact info there etc.

I have a pair of the long GGG kneepads. They are incredibly tuff, but the straps are a little hard to adjust and and they seem to slide down the leg when crawling. I have lent them to several people and they have all had the kneepads slide. For now I have some nearly gone Bombers and a cheap pair (I think the brand is Hach or Hatch) from Karst Sports.

My problem with long Bombers is that they rotate to the outside as I crawl around. The shorties aren't as bad but I lost one of them. Eventually the elastic breaks down as well as does the velcro. The wider back straps of some of the other pads look to be comfortable and durable. I took a good look at the Wunderwear pads and they seem to be well made and built for crawling with a bend sewn into them as well as wide straps across the back. Too bad there are not photos of them on the website to look at.

I have a buddy with the 661 pads. They look pretty good, but they have some bad wear points. Of course, my buddy usually wears the pads on TOP of his coveralls.....
