Perhaps this sounds like someone you know ? ;D ;D Forum Etiquette: The Butthole's Guide to PostingHow to be a complete dick on message boards by CPN in non-fiction> humor on Aug. 23, 2007 at 06:08am thisisby.us " When posting in online forums, adhere to the following guidelines to ensure you get the most out of your online experience. Rule 1: Argue! This is absolutely the most important rule of posting in any online forum and many of the other rules are based upon it. Be sure to start an argument whenever the opportunity presents itself. In fact, even if the opportunity doesn't present itself, argue anyway. After all, people don't come to message boards to share ideas, have polite discussions, or learn new things; they're there stricly for the non-stop arguments so be sure not to disappoint. Also, be sure not to back up your arguments with any facts. " Read the Full Article

Bad thing is... I have been on a forum with folks like this in the past. Um...well...anyway you might want to read Part 2. Forum Etiquette: Part 2[/url] More Tips on Making an A** of Yourself on Message Boards by CPN in non-fiction> humor on Sep. 08, 2007 at 07:18am Now that you’ve read my first guide to online forum etiquette and probably gotten yourself banned from several different forums (They were all just jealous of your obvious superiority), you’re ready to move on to more advanced posting etiquette. Adhere to the following guidelines and you’ll be a favorite on every forum you visit in no time!

This "Posting and You" clip is still one of my favorites. An oldie but a goodie. www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/postingFunny how we're virtually all guilty of some breach of accepted etiquette at one time or another, and yet human nature and ego makes us more prone to pointing fingers at others rather than looking in the mirror once in a while. Ah well, such is life.

I'm sure I'm as guilty as the next forum poster. Alas most of us try to behave though. It's still "funny as all git-out" regardless of how "perfect" we all see ourselves.
C'est la vie!
