There is an interesting article on page 24-26 about the discovery and study of the cave art in Dunbar Cavein the Sept/Oct 2007 Issue of the Tennessee Conservationist.

I am glad to see that the state of Tennessee is preserving this site and using it as a teaching tool for the public. It wasn't too many years ago that the park was almost closed and the cave closed off to the public due to budget constraints etc. The recent change in state government has resulted in a better support for parks etc. Hopefully other such important resources will also be given more support in the future.
