How do I add an Image?

Help, I am image posting impaired. How do I add images to a post?

Hey Lynn,

The process is similar to uploading your avatar. You will need a photo that is hosted somewhere on a website. If the photo you want to post is not already on a website go to image shack and upload it there. Here is the link for imageshack: imageshack.us/index.php

To then upload the photo into your post, start like you are creating a post and look for the little image sign above the smilies (looks like a little post card or stamp). I think it will say insert image if you hold your pointer over it. Click on that and you will see this text and then this text [/img pop up in the reply box, then paste your URL in between paste URL here [/img < --add a bracket, and the photo will show up in the post. If your URL has quotation marks on each end such as "on each end" these will need to be removed for it to work.

Note: Your img code should have a ] on the end of it, but if I add the end bracket in the instructions it won't show up. The software believes that I'm posting a photo and you will see a blank spot in the instructions. ;D
