'Today' show features student searchersFSU's underwater CSI program looked for clues after drowning By Daniela Velazquez March 17, 2007 Students combing a Marianna cavern where a diver drowned March 7 will be featured on NBC's "Today" show. Divers in Florida State University's Underwater Crime Scene Investigation Program in Panama City will be filmed today in Jackson County looking for evidence after 48-year-old Harry Milliser drowned. The FSU team also was taped Friday morning at the Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy where they trained with Leon County Sheriff's Office divers. Interesting that the news is covering something other than grim sensationalist topics these days! I bet they use similar techniques to cave divers for working in low visibility waters. That has to be tough to do. Could there actually be a market for cave diving skills?
