Here's a few photo's from the SERA Karst Task Force/ Sewanee Mtn Grotto clean up in the Russell Cave Watershed that was held February 19, 2006 on Orme Mountain Road. Wow Lynn, it's easy to see from the pictures how much work was needed in this area. Thanks for sharing the photos. Kudo's to everyone involved in this project!

Many folks were anxious for the photo's to be posted. Sorry, I'm a bit slower this week...caught a nasty head cold over the weekend. (darn it) It will be great when we get to see the watershed clean!

Wow, that's a lot of junk to clean up. Is this a roadside dumping area?

Yes this was one of the larger roadside areas that is being used as a dump in this karst area. Can't see it in the photo's but a nice little stream was meandering through all the trash.
