ED YARBROUGH SWORN IN AS UNITED STATES ATTORNEY FOR THE MIDDLE DISTRICT OF TENNESSEE
Nashville, TN - October 11, 2007 - Edward Meacham Yarbrough was sworn yesterday afternoon by Chief United States District Judge, Todd Campbell, as the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee. Mr. Yarbrough was nominated earlier this year by President George W. Bush and was confirmed by the United States Senate on October 4, 2007. Mr. Yarbrough replaces Paul O'Brien, who was appointed U.S. Attorney by former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on August 3, 2007, following the departure of Craig Morford, who was named Acting Deputy Attorney General. A public investiture is planned for the near future.
