Hello all, thx for the welcome here! Will talk about more about me. My speleo blog is written in German but on the top right on the page there is a google translation option. I hope this will work . I'm doing almost water caves in south germany at the "Altmuehltal". Its a limestone area between Munich and Nuremberg. see: maps.google.de/maps?f=q&hl=de&q=dietfurt&ie=UTF8&z=12&ll=49.038318,11.588173&spn=0.105781,0.338173&t=h&om=1I'm specialist at cave surveying and all computer related stuff. Check out my cave fly-through of the "Muehlbachquellhoehle"] www.cavewalker.com/blog/?p=32 (needs latest Quicktime to play) My current cave project is the "Wolf-blood Pit" a 85 meter deep cave. We will try to reach the water-active system there. more soon... cu -Ralph

Ralph, Thank you for your introduction. The Google translation works enough so that we non-German speakers can mostly understand what you are saying. Your english is much better than Google's translator (perfect actually)! I will have to look closer at your website now that I have more knowledge of your expertise. I also enjoy cave survey and mapping. I am very happy to have members such as yourself from other places in the world here to show us what it is like to cave in other countries. Again it is very good to have you on our forum!
