Caves exploration held in DSB

A 22-member team of spelunkers of the Western Visayas Caving Association headed by Aris Cristales conducted an initial survey and exploration of caves in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental, in coordination with Joan Gerangaya of the City Environment and Natural Resources Office in Bacolod City recently, a press release from the group said.
The group composed of WVCA members from Iloilo and Bacolod, and representatives from various private and government agencies, called on project initiator and town Mayor Marxlene dela Cruz.
De la Cruz supported the survey and said he hopes it will discover beautiful caves to boost eco-tourism in the far-flung areas of the municipality, the press release said.
